Campus Lodging

Campus lodging will not be available this year for the Organ Workshop participants.

Hotel Room Block

Married couples or participants can inquire about hotel rooms blocked off at the Courtyard by Marriott on 1600 North Freedom Blvd. in Provo. Check–in is on Monday, August 6 after 3:00 p.m. and check out on Saturday, August 11 before 12 noon. Rates are $99 a night plus tax and rooms can sleep 2-3. The hotel has a complimentary local shuttle which can take you to the BYU campus. Please e-mail robyn.marchant@byu.edu to obtain specific details and to register under the workshop room block. Please make your reservations early as the room block fills up and any unused rooms will be returned to the hotel on June 30.

Infants And Children

The workshop is open to women and men age 18 and older. Many of the classes are hands-on and require full concentration. Infants, including nursing babies and young children, will not be admitted to workshop sessions.

Meals

Workshop participants may eat at any cafeteria or food outlet on campus and pay by check, cash, or major credit card. The following are the most conveniently located to workshop classes:

  • Vending machines (located in the tunnel of the HFAC; includes microwave)

The Commons at the Cannon Center  

  • Cannon Center (located in the middle of Helaman Halls. Hours available online)
    • The Cannon Center is used by other camps during the summer and can have long wait times to get in during peak hours. Please plan accordingly by going for meals early or allowing for long waits.
