Bonnie Goodliffe

An organist on Temple Square since 1979, Bonnie Goodliffe has an extensive background in organ performance, music theory, and composition. She studied piano and organ at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, and received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from Brigham Young University.

As one of the Tabernacle organists, she performs with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Temple Square Chorale, and Bells on Temple Square and joins with her fellow organists in presenting daily 30–minute organ recitals in the Tabernacle and Conference Center. In addition, she teaches music theory in the 16–week Choir training school conducted each year for new entrants to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Mrs. Goodliffe is a fellow of the American Guild of Organists and has held key positions in that organization, including regional education coordinator and member of the National Certification Committee. She has presented workshops at AGO conventions and has written several articles published in the Guild’s official magazine, The American Organist. She is a published composer and arranger and has served on the Music Committee for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter–day Saints.

Jeannine Jordan

Jeannine Jordan

Jeannine Jordan holds a DMA in Organ Performance and Music History from the University of Oregon and has performed worldwide (Asia, the Pacific, Canada, Europe, and across the U.S.). She and her media–artist husband, David will present a unique organ and media event entitled Bach and Sons. The performance uses visuals and real–time camera projections of Dr. Jordan’s playing.

“Bach and Sons” weaves organ performance with stories and narratives of Johann Sebastian Bach and his three sons. This innovative performance will delight the music–lover, educator, historian and organist of any age and make friends for the organ worldwide.
